Graduation Is at Hand!

It’s finally over! In the next 2 weeks I will walk to the commencement with my fellow classmates and finally accept my diploma to graduate high school. 12 years. It’s amazing to think that I have been in school for 12 years. Kinda makes me think about how time is short and can fly by so quickly. I am very thankful for all the friend that I have gained and all the knowledge that I have absorbed from this 12 year experience. Now I need to work on getting a normal job and finish college. Wish me luck everyone.

Senior Exhibition Complete!

So I finally finished my senior exhibition presentation about me wanting to become a sound engineer. I truthfully believed that it was going to be much more difficult. My judges were very nice people and counted my questions section as part of my time Ending it at around nine minutes and fifty-three seconds. I was a bit nervous but I felt as if I bombed senior ex. I hope I pass because I really need this grade to obtain a C+ in English 12 to proceed to graduation.

So graduation is coming cl0ser and closer and I cannot wait to finally go on with life. It’s freakin’ exciting, but not really. After I graduate I have a 2-3 week vacation and then I must immediatly go to college for four years trying to earn a bachelors degree in sound engineering and recording engineering. I must also find a job in order to be able to pay for my books. I hope this will eventually lead me in the right direction to success like everyone tells you. I just want to be around 30-40% more successful than others who graduate high school. The only thing in my path now is something that only my school does. It’s called ‘Senior Exhibition”. It’s basicly you standing in front of 3 judges and telling them about what you plan to do for your future and the occupation you are persueing. I hope it is much easier than everyone says it is. You must also construct a portfolio that has multiple papers that are required to pass the class. It mimics what you would need for a job interview. Wish me luck. I bet you anything that I will need it.

Battle of the bands conclusion

So our band (brink of reality) didn’t win anything like I anticipated. It was more a popularity thing more than anything. We came into this thing new. Nobody knew us and we aren’t really the popular type of people who stand out above all the rest. The Band “La coiyas” won first place for the $270. “The Bostwicks” were the house favorite. We formed our band 1 month ago and only had 2-3 weeks of practice. But I think that we did a fairly good job for the time we did have.

VHS Battle Of The Bands 2009!

So the time to rock the school is coming and I feel around 70% confident that we will do well with both of our songs. Battle of the bands is on May 15 and time is short with our bands practice. The first song that we will be performing is 100% complete and we are ready to play it. The second song, on the other hand, isn’t finished and we have 4 days to complete it. The other band mates feel confident about it but not me. I have yet to learn all the lyrics and it needs a little extra spice on the pasta. I will tell you on wednsday on how our progress is.

Spring Break 2009!

It’s going to be freaking insane for many people!!! Just not me. Sure i get two weeks off and I had plans to go join Florida’s nude beaches! Now my plans are destroyed because my track & field coach say’s that I have to practice everyday during spring break. It sucks monkey balls! So my spring break won’t begin or end well. Pearl Jam (Ten) Album Reissue and RBDLC Available Now!

Pearl Jam has always been a huge inspiration for me since it was released on the year that I was born. Their debut album was launched in 1991. The debut album entitled “Ten” was their first album and was also by far it’s best. Their vocalist named Eddie Vedder has a very unique voice that stunned the nation along with their bands style of music called “Grunge”. Grunge music is a unique style combining punk with alternative and a little metal. So after 18 years of thier bands huge success with the album (Ten) they have decided to have a Reissue of it that came out today March 24,2009. I already bought it and it sounds great. In addition to the reissue, Pearl Jam has signed with the high selling game named “Rock Band” by MTV Games and Harmonix Studios. They signed together so that they may bring thier debut album (Ten) to the Xbox marketplace so that everyone can experience the thrill of what this band feels every day. I would be playing the songs now but once again school is getting in the way of my fun. I believe that I will be playing vocals because I am a real vocalist who covers the (Ten) albums songs. This week is going to be fun. What do you think about the Reissue of the Pearl Jam (Ten) album or how do you think it turned out in the “Rock Band” game?

Resident Evil 5 Review!

This is a very stunning game to look at. As a huge resident evil fan since the first game came out, I was very excited to pick up this game at the mid-night release. I started to play it and I never stopped until I beat it. I literally stayed up all night with my friend. We started out on veteran because we felt superior… ^_^ We didn’t have any trouble until we hit chapter 5 where we began to struggle for ammo and health. The cooperative gameplay is a very good addition to the game. Your inventory is very limited and you must depend on your partner to help you, save you, heal you, and give any spare ammo when you need it because you don’t have the inventory to stuff a massive amount of ammo and health like you had in Resident Evil 4. I truthfully think it is better that way. I had a lot of fun beating it and I am still playing it today. It’s been 5 days since I have played gears of war 2. Thats how good and addictive it is. The mercenary gameplay is fantastic as well. $60 well spent. A must buy for you Resident Evil fans and a must rent for those who are new.
